This film examines the 24 years marriage of the filmmakers ’new age’ parents and asks questions about self-development, navel-gazing, enlightenment and family. ------ Johanna is a documentary filmmaker, photographer, designer, and musician. She is particularly interested in working on arts-centric ways to challenge anti-immigrant sentiment. She also loves self indulgent, ultra personal storytelling of all kinds. Johanna got her BA and MA from the New School, where she was a part of the Riggio Honors Program for Writing and Democracy.  In 2018 Johanna created a web series that highlighted relationships and identity, through the preparation of a meal.  Most recently, Johanna was a fellow with the International Rescue Committee's Amman-based Middle East Research and Development Hub, creating video for Syrian community innovators.
